Rooms and reservations

Fidelis House is located in Kentville, Nova Scotia at 150 Exhibition Street. The house is situated on the grounds of the Valley regional Hospital. Our rooms are available for reservation for Valley Regional Hospital patients and their relatives or visitors.

Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and the generous support of individuals, community groups and local businesses, guests of Fidelis House are only asked to contribute $40 a night towards their stay with us. 

Our charges are by the bed. Each room consists of two single beds, and cots are available on request. A maximum of 3 people per room is allowed. There is no charge for children under the age of 12.

*There are times when Fidelis House is full. On those occasions it may be necessary to share a room. We hope that you understand and we ask for your cooperation.

Check-in & Check-Out

Our check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. For early arrivals you are welcome to wait in our lounge until the room is cleaned and ready for occupancy.

To accommodate our many guests, we require a check-out time of 11 AM. If necessary, a volunteer staff member will be pleased to store your luggage until your departure time. Check-out times after 11 AM will be asked to pay a full day’s fee of $40.00.

Hours

Our doors are locked from 9 PM until 7 AM. If you know you’ll be late, please let our volunteer on duty know. To register after 11 PM, you must be accompanied by a hospital security guard. Our volunteers are asked not to allow anyone in the building unless accompanied by a quest.
